My question - are there plans for the future of this app? I really love Ribbon UI and I hate Win98-like skins (Notepad++ have it :/). If FluentNotepad will be still developed and have support (and app start optimalization

You could also use the TaskDialog. It is very easy and outstandingly flexible.
I'd like to help you with this program if you want. I am an experienced C# programmer and I can handle VB.NET just about the same (the classes and methods are the same after all!).
